To my favorite Cinnamon Roll Bread and the Gingersnap Cookies at Trader Joe's -

The Metro (Jen's picture) made me feel, you know, like I belong here. Plus, on the way home I ran into two people I know from BYU who are new at the Barlow. Grady first, and then Brittany. Love them. Parenthetically, FHE/my new ward = amazing.
Technically, I live five minutes away from a Giant grocery store - I didn't need to go to Trader Joe's tonight. But I wanted you. I wanted you in an intense, almost shameful way, so on the way home from work I stopped in Foggy Bottom. From the time I woke up this morning, everything was new: new apartment, new commute, new office, new co-workers, new desk, new assignments, new responsibilities. Anyway, I wanted to write and tell you that despite the changes and my three-week absence, on the way up the Metro escalator everything felt familiar; it felt like I never left. I'm glad I went out of my way to be with you tonight because along the way, I felt at home.
