Desk 14 in the Main Reading Room of the Library of Congress,

You're not allowed to take pictures in the Main Reading Room... but today after work... I did. I was trying to be sneaky, and that's why this picture is not awesome. It's the desk I always sit at because it's where I sat the first time I ever went.
You and I met in January. It was an emotional and unforgettable experience for me, though I would hardly expect you to reciprocate that sentiment since, let's face it, you're a desk. Even though it wasn't that long ago, a lot has changed: I moved out of the District, applied to law school, got a new job, graduated from college, and other "big" stuff. But through all that, it's always been the same with you. You have been the perfect place to read and study, and maybe it's that "frailty thy name is" thing, and I'm just looking for some stability, but I love you. Thanks for being there.
