Amy, Hilary, Laura, Jen, and Mackenzie,

tagged bloggers:
  1. Amy Cornett - tree house roommate and Mandarin-speaking guidance counselor. Most days I wake up wondering why I'm trying to make major life decisions without her.
  2. Hilary Heath - roommates in London and Provo and the pre-existence. I've never loved another human being more than I love this girl.
  3. Laura Taylor - in London she was just the most hilarious girl I'd ever met, now she's my genius friend at Harvard law. And still the most observant and witty girl in the world.
  4. Jen Lee - my "J" in WWJD isn't Jesus, it's Jen - and it's pretty much the same thing. She's kind and decent and wonderful, and she loved me this winter in DC when I was practically unloveable.
  5. Mackenzie Matson - fellow intern at the Barlow, ex-temp San Francisco roommate, she has incredible taste in music, clothing, and food. She's currently (and I don't want to talk about it) a Berkeley resident.
I’ve never done one of these before. But Whit asked me to and that girl is a goldmine (amazing stylist, listener, personal shopper, and friend), so I did it. I think the rules are: answer the following questions, and then come up with your own five questions to ask five other people. Or not. Whatever. You can if you want. No one in your family will die if you fail to answer within five hours of reading it. Also, that kid you have a crush on won't call you if you do answer it. The only implication is that we'll all know and love you a little bit more.
  1. High maintenance: Include a picture of your current favorite outfit. Low maintenance: link to one of your current favorite articles of clothing.
  2. If you could play any character in a totally legitimate/awesome rendition of any movie, musical, or play, who would it be and why? Bonus: your pick of co-stars.
  3. When was the last time you thought something like, “I am so happy. I don’t remember the last time I was this happy. This moment is perfect. I would not change a single thing.” Too personal for the internet? You can lie. Just call me and tell me about it.
  4. If you could have anyone (dead or alive) paint or photograph a portrait of you, who would it be and why?
  5. What’s the next book you’re actually going to read? No textbooks.

  2. I'm glad you think I'm a genius AND that I'm hilarious. My ego is very fat right now, I'm pretty sure if you had said I had the most vibrant red hair on this planet my head would have exploded...so I'm glad you didn't say that too because if my head exploded my hair would be gone.

  3. I love/miss you too! I don't suppose you'll be around near Christmas time...I want you to meet Cyrus. Crazy, by then he'll be almost 7 months old. I love your list of reasons you love San Fran, it is a great place to be sure, I'm glad you like it. I do want to see you, let me know when you'll be around. lOVes

  5. Oh. My. Goodness. I'm so excited you tagged me that I might just start spewing in Chinese. No, really. Don't you hate that it's always easier to make important life decisions for someone else? I'll make some of your decisions if you make some of mine... even trade? I'll have to get on this blog-taggage as soon as I have a slow day at work. I'm pumped.
