to the man by my bus stop who sang, "The First Noel,"

I loved hearing you caroling; you had the most beautiful voice, so deep and rich and Christmasy. And you sang, "Noel, noel, noel, noel," and I felt holiday cheer bubble up inside my heart. And then after the "Noel"s you sang, "la da da da da da da da da da." And I just. I don't know. Maybe you already know. I wanted you to know. The words are, "Born is the King of Israel." And that's the reason I love that song: born is the King of Israel.

- girl who seriously could not be more excited about Christmas this year. I can't explain it, but all I want to do is watch Home Alone and make nijabread men.

  1. LOVE the ninjabread men.

Also, is that really how you spell it? Nowell?

Also, I started playing that lady in the clip and Brad said, "turn it off! That sounds terrible!"
    Thank you, the Grinch.

  2. I think it's just a "are we French or English" issue. where French = Noel and Nowell is English. at least, that's what I've been able to piece together from wikipedia
