Dear Top Gear,

Esther got us Netflix as a wedding gift. A) what a brilliant wedding gift and B) Chris and I love watching Top Gear together.

You’ve made me a car snob, and I don’t even have a driver’s license.

  1. I'm hoping that Hugh Laurie makes his way onto the show after House ends. Which would only make it that much snobbier.

  2. I love it! Scott and I watch this together as well. We're currently in 2004.

  3. I'm so pleased you like the gift. I wasn't sure if you would think TV was a dumb gift for such busy people. If you get a chance, watch Damages. You will fall in love with that too.

  4. Mmmmm, I love Top Gear so much. Two words: Vietnam Special.

  5. Top Gear has this amazing effect--you want to tell everyone about what hilarious stunt you saw last night. Like the time they drop a VW beetle from a mile in the sky from a helicopter and have it race a super car going a mile on the ground. And then you try to tell people, and it's never as funny as actually watching it. I realized this after Tyler introduced the show to my family, and they started telling us about every episode they saw. It wasn't that funny, so I told my friend about the less-funny phenomenon, but she had never seen it, so I started telling her about all the hysterical gags. It's a vicious cycle. Also, the Stig is my cousin.

  6. We love Top Gear! I was trying to explain to someone why one of my favorite shows is a British car show and I'm pretty sure I came across as crazy.
